Registration for the 2nd Symposium on Fungal Genetics and Biology is now open

The Instituto de Ciências Biológicas (ICB/UFG) will host the 2nd Symposium on Fungal Genetics and Biology from June 17 to 19, 2026. Registration is now open and can be completed through the Plateia UFG system (Here). To confirm participation, applicants must complete the online registration form and proceed with payment, which can be made via bank transfer (Banco do Brasil) or PIX.

Registration fees

• BRL 30.00 – Undergraduate students
• BRL 50.00 – Graduate students
• BRL 100.00 – Professionals, postdoctoral researchers, staff, and other participants

Registration will be confirmed by email after payment verification.

Payment should preferably be made from a bank account linked to the registrant’s CPF (Brazilian taxpayer ID). If the payment is made from a third-party account, the proof of payment must be sent by email (sfgb.ufg@gmail.com), including the name of the registered participant. It is not necessary to send the proof of payment by email if the payment was made from a bank account linked to the registrant’s CPF (Brazilian taxpayer ID).

Fee waiver policy

The organizing committee will offer a limited number of registration fee waivers for UFG students who meet the eligibility criteria of the Cadastro Único para Programas Sociais (CadÚnico). A total of 20 waivers will be available:
• 10 for undergraduate students
• 10 for graduate students

Applicants requesting a fee waiver must first complete their registration via the Plateia system and then send their CadÚnico statement to sfgb.ufg@gmail.com.

The results of the waiver applications will be announced by June 5, 2026.
